Should women use a posture support bra? Being a woman and if you are interested in better quality of life, all your life, then a wise course of action is to invest in posture support bras while you are young. If you are older a posture support bra will not be a magic bullet to fix bad posture or back pain.

It will, however act as a training tool and reminder for constant, conscious postural correction. This habit combined with other good habits will serve you no end in the quest for significant postural improvement.

The features of these bras that give them these special postural correction characteristics are basically reinforced bands designed in a criss-cross pattern at your back. This leads to better upper back and shoulder support that applies gentle motivation to pull your shoulders back and thus vastly reduces and even eliminates pressure on the back.

Due to the stronger bands the need of underwire are also eliminated. There are also upper back and body support panels on bras with long line designs and for the more active and athletic, a pullover design.

These unique designs act as an almost subconscious reminder to sit up straight, pull your shoulders back and eventual this becomes a habit. As said before the posture support bra is not a cure all but it will get you into the habit of activating your back and shoulder muscles which will take you in the right direction.

Now if you still have a good posture the bra you will prevent the habits that will lead you into a slow descent to bad posture and back pain. If you already have bad posture, the posture bra combined with effective neck and back posture strengthening exercises will help you improve and maintain your posture in a really significant way. These are all excellent answers to the question, 'should women use a posture support bra?'
