We have had our Pegasus faucet for about a year and had nothing but problems. Paid a big price for nothing but problems the sprayer falls apart all the time and alot of the times does not shut off went you release the handle. It has been a REAL DISAPPOINTMENT, would not recommend to anyone or ever purchase another one again!!!!! Don't waste your money
Washers fail after about a year. Parts not available anymore at my Home Depot or Lowes. Leaks common after a short time in both bathroom and kitchen models. Sadly, this is typical Chinese engineering and manufacturing. Apparently part of the container load buy and ignore the customer modern method of doing business anymore.
I also have a leaking kitchen faucet that I can't seem to fix. Deffinitely not worth buying. Especially when you spend 250 plus dollars on something that you have to keep fixing!
This article really surprised me. Our Pegasus kitchen faucet was a big disappointment. We spent $300 and the faucet actually bubbles up and then splits and water begins squirting out of cracks all over the faucet. We have to completely replace the sprayer end of our faucet every year. The company sends it to us free of charge, but it is a big hassle just to get them on the phone and get the right part shipped. Also the rubber button falls apart quickly and then we have several months of an eyesore when we thought we bought a beautiful and high quality faucet.
Many of the pegasus faucets have a limited life time warranty on the parts. You may want to contact Home Depot to see if they can connect you with your warranty company
I think the article was written by someone employed by pegasus! I had one -- it was beautiful junk. And the Beaty was shot lived as it fell apart within two years. Run away from this brand!!
Bought this brand 11 months ago and the finish has flecked off at the top of the gooseneck faucet already. Threw the box away after it was installed. Will never buy this brand again
I had bought a bathtub set a couple of years ago, and now the faucet makes a loud knocking sound. A plumber told me to replace a cartridge in there, but Home Depot, where I bought it from, first told me to get a picture of the faucet, and when I did, told me to contact Pegasus. I can find no contact information for this company anywhere on the web. Anybody have any information?
These are pure junk! I purchased a lavatory faucet a week ago and have had a hard time with the installation. The cheap, plastic drain attachment leaks and I can do nothing to get a leak proof fit. Finally, I had to call a plumber who used a new (brass)drain attach to get everything working without leaks. I paid almost $150 for a piece junk! They could have charged $20 more and included a quality drain attach. I was almost going to pull out the entire faucet and return it when the plumber pointed out that they would not take it back because it was obviously used.
Not the greatest purchase I have ever made. Looks good but....Unit leaked after about two years of use. After contacting Pegasus. I had to send pictures to show what model it was. I soon found out my unit was discontinued. They replaced with compatible that were not the same as original which made the swapping a little more difficult. Parts also came without directions making install more difficult. Unit began to leak recently after taking apart I found the same issues. In used some old parts from other similar faucets and it seems to much better. The only thing I do know is I will never go cheap again and never Pegasus.
I installed a Pegasus faucet (beautiful to look at) in our bathroom about two years ago. The hot water knob just came off in my hand. What to do?

Warning - Pegasus fauce ceramic washers are very hard to find and must be replaced every year. I've had one in kitchen for 5 years -- looks great. But I need to change washers for 4th time, and cannot get them at either my Home Depot or my Lowes. If you enjoy fixing things around the house, buy a Pegasus.
